Born from a love of culture.
Afrolebensfreude connects people through music, movement and stories from Africa.

Our Story
It all began with a drum circle in a small senior care home: people who barely spoke anymore started clapping, smiling and telling stories. In that moment it became clear that African rhythms are far more than music.
From this experience Afrolebensfreude grew: a program that brings together culture, movement and connection – for seniors, for children and for everyone who is curious.
Today we work with care homes, daycares, schools, clubs and businesses across Lower Saxony, creating programs that stay in people's memories.

Our Vision
A society where generations and cultures meet naturally – with joy, respect and rhythm.
Our Values
Warmth
We meet every person as an equal – without any pressure to perform.
Authenticity
We show African culture as it is lived, not as a cliché.
Reliability
Clear arrangements, punctual appointments, ready-made concepts.
Inclusion
Our programs are designed to be accessible: seated, standing, or in a wheelchair.
Shall we get to know each other?
We're happy to advise you, with no obligation, on the right format for your group.
